Our hope is to see our neighbors come to know Jesus, so we must become faithful disciples committed to BLESSing.

Five simple ways we can BLESS our neighbors

Begin with prayer
Each day pray for those who are on your “BLESS30” list. Pray for daily opportunities to further BLESS those wherever God sends you.

Listen
Be slow to speak, but quick to listen. Ask questions. The best way to learn about someone is to listen to their story and what’s going on their life. By listening we are better equipped to pray and serve them.

Engage
This takes time, but engaging your neighbors by sharing a meal or meeting for coffee is an incredible way to build a relationship.

Serve
As you engage people and listen to them, they will tell you how to love them and you will learn how best to serve them.

Share
When the time is right, share the gospel and how Jesus changed your life.

Help us reach our 100,000 meal goal!

"Texas brought us back to Texas."

A name now synonymous with soup, Colleen shares how her determination to show up for others was born out of her own journey of finding community.

God’s way of reaching and restoring the world is through blessing.

In Genesis chapter 12:2, God said to Abraham, “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” God blessed Abraham. He blessed him spiritually, relationally and financially. Not only did God bless him by receiving blessings, but he blessed him to be a blessing. God has called us to be a blessing to accomplish Jesus’ mission.

These intentional practices, empowered by the Holy Spirit, will enable you to participate in the strategy that God has invited you into to reach the world.  Do one of these missional practices everyday and you will see God move in powerful ways!
