Ready to Rescue Day 34

⁴ Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. ⁵ I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Praise God that He has chosen to use people like us to produce spiritual fruit in this world. Repent of your efforts to try and grow spiritually or produce fruit apart from the power of Christ working in and through you. Ask God to abide in you and to produce an abundant crop of fruit in and through your life. Yield to the work of the Holy Spirit within you to empower and equip you for what God wants to do in the lives of others through your changed life.
