Ready to Rescue Day 48

6 Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Praise God for the promise of eternal life for all of those who seek Him. Repent of any weariness that you might have towards doing the work that God has given each one of us during our time on earth. Ask God for more opportunities for Him to do good through you. Yield to how God will use others in your life and for how He wants to use you in the lives of others to help them move from death to life.

  • How does the commitment to disciple someone else impact our own spiritual growth?
  • Jesus was intentional about beginning disciple-making relationships. What are some practical steps that you can take to begin the process of seeking out someone to disciple and/or someone to disciple you?
