Christmas in the Midst of Insecurity

What is something you and your family were most thankful for this past Christmas? Did you enjoy time spent together? Did you enjoy the time off of work? Did you travel for a short vacation?

Our global partners in Sudan were most thankful this year for simply being able to gather as a community of believers this past Christmas. In the midst of great insecurity, the church in El* celebrated Christmas for the first time ever without persecution! Here are just a few photos of their gathering together.

During the Bible Campaign leading up to Christmas, together we raised over $5,000 to support our global partners in Sudan to purchase Bibles. We sent over the first part of that this week. This has been a constant request from our partner, Paul*, to help get the Word of God into the hands of new followers of Christ. Paul was able to purchase over 150 physical Bibles and 100 SD cards to load digital copies of the Bible and other helpful resources. Thank you for your support!
